ActiveCross develops nature-derived biochemical pesticides to enable the production of safe and abundant food without reliance on synthetic pesticides.
Today’s consumers demand “safe” and “pesticide free” food. However, 75% of the fruits and vegetables that we purchase from grocery stores have pesticide residues, and 94% of products that are applied to protect crops from disease and insects are synthetic chemicals. We know that synthetic chemicals can have a negative impact on human and environmental health.
ActiveCross is introducing new, disruptive technology to give farmers more sustainable tools for protecting our food supply. ActiveCross uses biochemicals produced by microbes and plants. These bioactive compounds have been shown to be effective in controlling key pests and diseases found to be deleterious in agriculture. ActiveCross naturally enhances the potency of these compounds using proprietary fermentation know-how so that our products are biological based but even better than nature has made.
